The poster promotes an exhibition of Paul Rand’s earlier branding work at the College of Visual Arts (CVA). Designer Michael Skjei was inspired by Paul Rand’s 1951 DaDa exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art.
CVA was thrilled with the design and used the poster assets for their exhibition marketing materials including on-site postings, mailed postcards, emailed announcements, and press releases. Copies of the poster we available for purchase at CVA gallery events.
The exhibition attracted international attention. CVA attributes much of this to the quality of the poster and the excitement it generated for Paul Rand's work.
