The Idea

The objective of this assignment was to create an engaging leave-behind that the Schwinn sales force could give to their key account buyers. It needed to reinforce Schwinn’s joyful brand positioning and demonstrate the commitment Schwinn was making to engage consumers in 2011.

Delivery of Work

We wanted to create something memorable, useful and enduring, especially knowing that retail buyers get more sales tchotchkes than anyone. Playing off of Schwinn's tagline, "Letメs go for a ride" we designed screen-printed and letterpress posters that feature both a calendar for 2011 and a map of a great bike route near the buyers' offices.

The Results

These posters have been a great success. They not only energized Schwinn's sales force, they delighted the buyers who received them. In fact, many of the buyers followed up with requests for additional posters for staff members. The calendars were also a key part of Schwinn securing additional retail space and co-sponsorships.
