Supervalu Brand Summit Event

The Idea

FAME client SUPERVALU was planning a first-ever Brand Summit to rally store managers across 11 different SUPERVALU grocery stores. They needed a visual expression of unity and collaboration to underscore the purpose of the event. We responded with a collaged approach, bringing all the logos together in a layered, vibrant graphic that easily extended across all the event venues and signing elements.

Delivery of Work

Design elements spanned three different venues, and our approach created continuity across all the spaces: Orchestra hall, Millennium Hotel, and the Hilton entrance, cocktail lounge, and ballroom. Each venue was transformed to create a cohesive environment, from a 30 x18 foot overhead mobile, graphic bar and wall panels to chandeliers and custom cocktail tables. Gathering spaces were also designed to promote the theme of unity, with elements like oversized community bar tables in the cocktail lounges and family style seating in the ballroom.

The Results

FAME wowed the client, and rumor has it store managers were duly impressed not to mention inspired and motivated. SUPERVALUメs goal was to instill a sense of pride and unity, and store managers responded with a renewed commitment to bringing the collective brand vision to life in their individual stores.
