A self-promo illustration series depicting everything I ate while attending the MN State Fair. The idea was to promote this new illustration style, create awareness for my work, generate web traffic to my site, and attract potential clients.
Since there wasn't a budget for printing, the illustrations reached the audience via the internet. The illustrations were posted on my web site, blog and flickr pages and promoted through email and social networking sites. The audience was primarily art buyers, creative directors, art directors and magazine editors who buy illustration.
The response was overwhelmingly positive and resulted in increased web traffic, thanks in large part to social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter (it even got the attention of the Minnesota State Fair). All the visibility resulted in landing a new client.
