The Idea

The client wanted distinctive packaging that set themselves apart from other bee-derived products. Originally, they were open to Soviet-inspired worker direction, but through our discussions we decided that a softer approach would be more successful in the body care aisle and considering their audience. The client also wanted to represent different flowers that bees pollinate so we created different illustrations to do so. They loved the treatment of the badge used to differentiate scented and unscented products.

Delivery of Work

The work has been growing in popularity as it travels the craft made scene in different cities and different shows as well as being sold in more and more co-ops and gift shops.

The Results

The client was ecstatic! They get compliments all the time on the packaging and I've received requests for work because of it. Worker B's products are very good and the packaging helps portray that. Their business has been burgeoning.
