EMERGE represented at AIGA Leadership Retreat July 5, 2018

In early June, thirteen EMERGE team members represented at the Lead by Design AIGA Leadership Retreat in Baltimore, MD sharing out the launch of EMERGE 2.0 and Awareness Week plans for this fall. During this 30th annual retreat, nearly 300 chapter leaders from across the country came together to connect, share insight, and participate in hands-on learning opportunities. The EMERGE team presented an inspiration story about the national initiative, shared activation plans, held FaceTime and topic lunch sessions, and also spoke with numerous attendees at our initiative information table. Additionally, 50 retreat attendees joined us to ideate ways to activate EMERGE across AIGA chapters in partnership with the AIGA Diversity & Inclusion national task force. We are excited to continue the forward momentum for chapter and community collaborations throughout the country.
