From Polar Bears to Pythons: Bringing Real-World Issues Direct from the Field into Classrooms Worldwide through Adventure Learning Dr. Aaron Doering, professor of Learning Technologies and co-director of the Learning Technologies Media Lab at the University of Minnesota, has brought Adventure Learning to the forefront of education. He’s traveled to climate hotspots around the globe, collaborating with diverse cultures while millions of learners participated virtually in these journeys online. Doering will speak about his dogsledding expeditions crossing the circumpolar Arctic, and his latest projects: Earthducation, which investigates the intersections between education and sustainability on every continent and North of Sixty°, where climate change narratives are captured throughout the circumpolar Arctic.

EPIC: Youth Farm Rebrand Kris Lindquist (Little) and Lauren Buckley (Olson) will share information about EPIC: Engaging Philanthropy, Inspiring Creatives, by highlighting the award-winning work they led for Youth Farm.
