For me, the lasting impressions aren’t memories, but relationships.
Through AIGA — in committee meetings and board meetings, at events, at local and national conferences, and in the occasional drinking establishment — I’ve had the good fortune to meet, plan, commiserate, work alongside, and collaborate with both designers and non-designers from all around the country, all of whom strongly believe in the value and impact of design and generously volunteer their time for the good of the profession.
