AIGA MN’s Digital Committee’s mission is to engage the tech community – Designers, UXers, Developers, and beyond – in impactful conversations around the design space and create a collaborative learning community. This panel focuses on the process of integrating UX and Engineering systems to improve communication across teams within an organization. The event is tailored towards individuals working with creative and technical teams interested in learning ways to improve communication. However, anyone is welcome to join.

McLean Donnelly is the founding partner of The Makery, a UX/UI firm located in Minneapolis. Previously, McLean was the Vice President of Product Design for Shutterstock. Prior to that, he worked as a design leader for Expedia and Target. He earned a Masters of Business Administration from the Opus School of Business and a Bachelors of Arts from Gettysburg College.
Patrick Fuentes has been doing Android engineering since 2012, and he loves it. He is currently a mobile engineer at Foodsby, an office lunch delivery service. When he’s not making software, you can find him helping organize for Google Developer Group Twin Cities, riding his bike, and taking tasty food photos.
Dev Jana is a lifelong technologist, developer, and musician. One of the Directors of Instruction for the Full Stack Development program at Prime, he has a Bachelor’s in Computers and an MFA in 3D Animation and Special Effects. Dev is additionally half of the Minneapolis based game development outfit DevNAri LLC which is releasing it’s first game “Newt One” on XBox One, Mac, & PC later this year.
