The campaign included posters and advertisements, and at the actual event, merchandise like pencils, stickers, and apparel with the identity were sold.
The Internet Cat Video Festival is the first annual celebration of cats and the moving image. First launched to great success in 2012 on the green space of the Walker Art Center, the second iteration of the festival took place at the Minnesota State Fair, and featured visiting cat celebrities like Lil’ Bub and Grumpy Cat, and over 90 minutes of hilarious, poignant, and downright weird videos of felines in various situations. The campaign included a poster, digital and print advertising, and on merchandise like t-shirts, stickers, and pens. The identity also extended to all of the motion graphics for the festival screening.
Although only in its second year, the festival that year was well attended, almost filling the entire bandstand at the Minnesota State Fair.
