Life Time Commitment Day Campaign 2013

Campaign | By 3e The Life Time Agency

Delivery

To motivate Life Time members and non-members to think differently about their New Year’s Day, we created a comprehensive campaign that introduced people to the concept of Commitment Day, and encouraged them to sign up.

With the support of an integrated campaign involving everything from print to in-club campaigns, interactive to broadcast, Life Time's inaugural Commitment Day event drew in over 40,000 participants who committed to taking their first steps at living healthier together. And the movement is getting stronger every day.

Concept

The U.S. is facing a major problem. It’s us. With obesity, heart disease, diabetes and countless other ailments quickly killing us, we need to make a serious change.

And that’s exactly what Life Time did. Welcome to Commitment Day. The day we created to rally the nation together with a single goal in mind: to live healthier once and for all.

Held on New Year’s Day, Commitment Day impacted the nation’s health with dozens of simultaneous 5K run/walks across the country.

Results

In just 9 short months, Life Time created, branded, advertised, promoted and successfully launched a 28-city event series that hosted more than 40,000 attendees. More than 140 media stories were captured, over 10,000 “Commitments” were posted online and the event grew to nearly 40 events in 2014. Plans are underway for over 100 events in 2015.
