Solopreneurs: April Meeting at Wedge Table

Interested in lending your voice to the AIGA Minnesota Solopreneurs community?

Join us for our monthly lunch meetings at The Wedge Table Community Room. We discuss upcoming Solopreneur events, brainstorm and collaborate on business and creative issues, and enjoy the company of other independent creative professionals in a casual setting with some tasty food available for purchase.

If you’re already a Solopreneur or just thinking about making the transition, we’d love to include you in our conversation. No registration or advanced RSVP is required. Plan to buy your own lunch and/or beverage.

Schedule

12:00-1:00 Show Your Work! Quarterly Critique & Concept Review As an independent creative, it’s often hard to get feedback on your projects. The AIGA Minnesota Solopreneurs are here to help! Starting in 2017, one meeting each quarter will be dedicated to peer reviews of each others’ work. Whether you want to practice a client pitch, showcase a completed project for peer review, or get feedback on creative concepts, come prepared to give a 5 minute presentation on your work and receive 10 minutes of feedback from your peers. Don’t have a project right now, or just want to see some new ideas? We’d love your voice as part of the critique crew! Because time is limited, we request that you contact [email protected] in advance if you are interested in presenting a project during this meeting. Space is limited to the first four people who respond.

Chair of Solopreneurs
I am Freelance Visual Designer and Artist based in Bloomington, MN. I have over a decade of experience with brand identities, designing for print & digital, website design, event design, as well as marketing strategy & planning. Overall, I'm more of a generalist who specializes in brand strategy, graphic design, and web design.

In addition to being a freelance designer, I am also a lettering and illustration artist. A lot of my custom hand-drawn work appears in my client projects.

When I’m not designing or drawing, I enjoy climbing/bouldering, lifting, going to movies, dancing, and hanging out with family & friends.
