EMERGE 2.0 Workshop Participants Announced November 5, 2017
The grant organizers Jenny Price and Katrin Loss set forth several months of EMERGE 2.0 Innovate grant planning into high gear, on-boarding the stellar design thinking facilitation team. We are excited to bring together a talented group of participants to lead the first-of-its-kind AIGA cross-chapter online, fully distributed, design thinking workshop series.
Thanks to the 2017 AIGA Innovate Grant awarded, the goal is to grow and expand EMERGE to reach new, more diverse audiences, members, and prospective members, 0-5 years after graduation—in partnership with the AIGA Diversity & Inclusion Task Force and chapter leaders who have produced EMERGE offerings to-date. We are excited to announce the EMERGE 2.0 workshop participants representing from 18 different chapters.
Inaugural 2017 EMERGE 2.0 participants
These 28 participants convened using several online collaborative tools, participating in a design thinking workshop series which took place during the month of October. This series incorporates the IBM Design Thinking framework, facilitated by Jenny Price and Katrin Loss along with a team of facilitators gathered from the AIGA and IBM F.Act Summits held earlier this year.
We are excited to bring this to life and grow EMERGE collectively, for the betterment of our communities and across all chapters. Look for additional updates as to the workshop learnings and outcomes to be shared.
