Virtual Event

By attending an AIGA event, you agree to abide by the Code of Conduct.

AIGA MN is pleased to partner with WeCo to offer a free training on accessibility and visual design.

Many graphic and web designers want to include individuals living with disabilities, in the outcomes of their work, but find it challenging to grasp how to make that happen. Led by Lynn Wehrman, Founder and President of the Minneapolis, mission-based digital consulting company, staffed by digital technologists living with disabilities, WeCo Accessibility Services. Lynn will help attendees understand:

  1. How users with different disabilities interact with the visual aspects of your designs.
  2. How nonvisual access happens with visual design and why it’s an important part of inclusion.
  3. The impacts of design inaccessibility on the user.Positive next steps you can take to ensure that your designs are accessible and inclusive.
  4. Resources for learning more.
