By attending an AIGA event, you agree to abide by the Code of Conduct.

Now in its 42nd year, Design Camp® is AIGA Minnesota’s premier event and historically the largest regional design conference in the country. Each year we bring together a diverse array of design professionals, students, and affiliated creatives from the Upper Midwest for an experience full of learning and inspiration from our industry’s leading thinkers and doers.

With past speakers including Louise Fili, Woody Pirtle, Milton Glaser, George Aye, John Maeda, Renee Reid and Debbie Millman, Design Camp brings together keynote speakers from industry legends to organization leaders pushing the boundaries of our rapidly evolving and increasingly influential industry.

This year’s Design Camp will be held as an all-day event at the Minneapolis Institute of Art on Saturday, October 29. It’s not the typical weekend in the woods Design Camp is known for but for this year, we wanted to make Design Camp as accessible as possible to everyone in our industry who has weathered the ups and downs of the past few years. We’ll feature keynote speakers from some of the leading creative companies in our industry today, unique short presentations, a panel discussion, artistic activities, entertainment, industry representatives, and all the other fun things that make Design Camp an experience like no other! Studio tours will also take place on Friday, October 28.

Help us send under-represented designers to attend Design Camp 2022.

AIGA members and friends: We received more than twice as many applications for Design Camp Professional Scholarships, which support under-represented designers attending Camp. While we can cover the first 20 applicants who’ve met the criteria, we’d love to help as many more attend as possible.

Please help fellow designers in need to enhance their knowledge and build connections.

Fund a student, new grad, or early career professional by contributing between $125 (student member) and $575 (professional non-member). The fee range is here.

Use this PayPal link to make it happen! The contribution deadline is Friday, October 21.

Thank you for your dedication to supporting our profession!
