Connect with other creative solopreneurs

At the May Solopreneurs meeting we will be discussing how passion projects can help elevate your personal brand and attract clients. As part of our discussion, we will look at the various social media platforms; we will hear from featured guests how they use these channels to build their brand; and we’ll discuss tips to leverage social media platforms more effectively.
Topics include:
  • Is it important to have a strategic objective to guide and curate your posts? What is it? What have you seen that works for others, too?
  • Have you ever taken on a project where you create and share your work for a set period of time? 30- day or 100-day projects?
  • What benefits have you derived from participating on the platform? Has it helped your business grow? In what ways?
  • What type of posts secures engagement, interaction and gain a following?
We are also going to propose a participatory practice to support Solopreneurs looking to jump-start building their brand by posting work.

Chair of Solopreneurs
I am Freelance Visual Designer and Artist based in Bloomington, MN. I have over a decade of experience with brand identities, designing for print & digital, website design, event design, as well as marketing strategy & planning. Overall, I'm more of a generalist who specializes in brand strategy, graphic design, and web design.

In addition to being a freelance designer, I am also a lettering and illustration artist. A lot of my custom hand-drawn work appears in my client projects.

When I’m not designing or drawing, I enjoy climbing/bouldering, lifting, going to movies, dancing, and hanging out with family & friends.
