This month, the Solos are talking tools & tech that they love! Well, “love” may be a strong word, but at the very least, we’ll be sharing about the tools that hopefully help make our lives as freelancers easier, more efficient, or streamline some parts of our process.

Across all the design & creative disciplines, there seem to be more platforms than ever to do our work, connect with clients, and run our businesses. From the design-specific to project management to invoicing & payments.

But not all are created equal — learning curves, licensing, ownership, and pricing/fee subscriptions — some platforms are tried & true while others aren’t the right fit. And maybe there is a tool or two that you’ve changed your stance on! (Canva? Figma? I know we have some Adobe purists out there.)
