By attending an AIGA event, you agree to abide by the Code of Conduct.

Are you interested in making some change?

Join the Diversity & Inclusion Team at our next committee meeting happening in one of two ways: Online (via Google Hangouts) or at the University of Minnesota’s Duluth campus, Montague Hall 121. Please contact the Director of Diversity & Inclusion if you plan to attend or have additional questions.

At the beginning of each committee meeting, we introduce ourselves with our name, pronouns, and why we are in attendance. We quickly review our mission and charge, which we all had a hand in crafting, before moving on to any agenda items. While we welcome additional items for review, we will always cover our diversity and inclusion chapter initiatives which include: our #DoBetterMN campaign, accessibility to AIGA memberships, AIGA event protocol reviews, and plans for our annual equity and inclusion all-member training. All are welcome to attend our committee meetings.

Our meetings are usually on Wednesdays and are planned at the end of each committee meeting.

Drew Graham
Director of Diversity and Inclusion
For Drew, design is an act of radical empathy founded on the belief that every space, whether digital or physical, should be built to welcome everyone. As a UX/UI specialist, his dedication to accessibility isn't just a professional checkbox. It is deeply rooted in a career that actually began in the physical world, sculpting molds for prosthetic and orthotic leg braces.

He has spent over a decade bridging the gap between complex technical constraints and genuine human connection. Whether he is mapping out intuitive user journeys for healthcare startups or serving as a core advocate for players with disabilities within the Activision Disabilities Network, his focus remains entirely on breaking down barriers. As Director of Diversity and Inclusion for AIGA Minnesota, Drew is committed to ensuring the local creative community feels deeply approachable, supportive, and accessible to designers of all ability levels, backgrounds, and demographics.

Catch him anytime to talk about scalable design systems, grassroots community growth, indie game storytelling, or the perfect backyard grill setup.
