Title: The 2010 Census: How People Are Counted

Purpose of the Work: Every 10 years, the U.S. Census Bureau is tasked by the constitution to count every person in the United States. For individuals with unique living situations—such as college students, member of the military, or snowbirds—the answer to the question “Where Should I be counted?” Isn’t necessarily obvious. The “How People Are Counted” brochure was created to simply explain the process for achieving a complete, accurate count, with special emphasis on counting those unique living situations.
