Purpose of the Work: The exterior of the revitalized Seward Co-op was to convey the exuberance and freshness of the co-op and the new Seward Co-op brand. The exterior was to be eye-catching while depicting the spirit of the Co-op within. While not necessarily needing a complete rebrand, the fine folks of Seward Co-op asked Spunk to change the way that the decades-old natural foods co-op is seen by its neighbors, members, and the rest of Minneapolis. The challenge of the project was to give the store a more contemporary, urban image, while celebrating the actual farmers and artisans whose work is integral to the cooperative community.
