Purpose of the Work: The client wanted to introduce a new type of surgical eyewear to nurses and surgeons in the operating room. Previously, nurses and surgeons would use a piece of acetate as a way to keep blood, material, etc out of their eyes. This new line of eyewear would be more stylish, would have anti-fog coatings and would feel more comfortable on their face. It would also be a higher price point. We wanted to introduce the eyewear as a “premium” product to the current acetate.
The client asked us to design a sampler kit/package that a medial sales person could provide to a nurse and/or surgeon that contained the eyewear and a brochure about the product. The purpose of the kit was to peak the interest of the nurses and surgeons and ultimately make this eyewear a permanent product in a surgeon’s operating room.
